It all started with a passion for aviation and a shared dream to learn to fly and become friends with other pilots. The ACV thus became a small-scale, friendly flying club, for and by the members.
We used to fly to Valkenburg Airport and that is where the name Aero Club Valkenburg comes from. About 10 years ago we moved to Hilversum airport.
The association is characterized by its pleasant atmosphere and friendships and we could now even call ourselves Aero Club Friends. We fly with a modern 2-person composite Diamond Katana DA20, with a reliable and economical Rotax engine with adjustable propeller. Members rent the Katana for an unprecedentedly low price of €105 per hour including gasoline.
